Yup
I've been working on the CFM56 models, right now they are LEAPX model

Also, I fixed a bug in IT-AUTOFLIGHT which may cause instability in the PITCH axis when in ALT HLD, or V/S modes.

Planned changes:
New performance profile for IAE engines
New thrust logic to help with thrust stability during climbout
Add CRS knob for NAV1 and NAV2 in cockpit.
Redo annunciator on PFD for full glass cockpits
New autopilot-annunciator for EFIS-analog cockpits

And more

And we are working with chad3006 for a new E/WD like this (left one of course  ):

It's going to be a whole revolution, we're rethinking the whole engine part of the project.
We are switching from the CFM56-5B4 to the CFM56-5B7: same thrust, better model.
And as Josh said before, the IAE V2500-A5 engines, are getting a new performance profile and improvements to exterior model.

And that's only one aspect of the whole... ;)

First post TODO list has been updated.

A lot of work recently, especially regarding the RC-137R and the CFM56-5B7 engines.

A few pics from yesterday's testing at Robins AFB:

The engine color still are wrong.

I think they might have a material applied to them, causing the UVmap for the livery to look weird.
I'll check.

Same regarding the IAEs.
Thanks for checking ;) .

Recent commit introduced new avionics sounds to the aircrafts!

Engines material has been fixed by Martien Van Der P. some time ago, and some other updates have been made in the recent days, e.g. the Gmeter now shows the max and min Gs pulled during the flight.

A question I have is: would it be possible to create some kind of ECMs and radar jamming systems to an aircraft?

They would do nothing unless you modify the other planes as well, and send a property over MP

Glad you like the gmeter ;)

Well, if it can be done with OPRF aircrafts why not, the ECM thing would mainly be used for ops we do there.

To be frank (and this is getting off topic, but whatevs), the state of radar and radar handling is pretty bad in every aircraft that has it. We don't account for weather, terrain (unless using that code that 5H1N0B1 and Leto worked on), jamming, active vs passive vs off, RCS, and a bunch of other stuff.

It could be fixed airplane-side, but we are going to have to get creative with how we use our multiplayer properties so we don't over-fill the packets. I'd love to do this or see this done. I'm definitely going to be working on RCS with the MiG, and hopefully we can find a solution to the rest that is workable. Richard's emesary system looks nice, but I'd need to figure it out first.

Some of that stuff can also be very expensive computationally, too.

OK. I'm open to working/integrating with the OPRF system then.
