Feel free to add an example to {{infobox aircraft}} for your new hangar as well. This is for debugging purposes to make sure that the template works as you expect with any future changes.

Hi Michat,

I've just had some feedback from Emmanuel about your banners for his hangar:

Would you be able to adjust the "depuis" date to 2006 and update the wiki versions? As an aside, I wonder when the first 3D models came to FlightGear? From memory I remember around 2003, but I could be quite a few years out.

Thank you,
Edward

Hi bugman.

I'm back at home and I've just read your requests on this thread.

For the Bermuda's triangle I have created this banner.

Image

Please, check if size and text fit your purposes.

About Helijah hangar banner, I've made the corrections, but I have problem to find the wiki page where I can change the former logo with the new one amended, beacuse if I click on the image gets me to the hangar.

Can you point me to that img file on the wiki ?

Cheers

Awesome! Thank you. Would it be possible to remove the 's in Bermuda Triangle? For the hangar banners, I have created the following category:

You will find all your logos there :)

Cheers,
Edward

Edit: For those who missed the reference, this Wikipedia quote should explain what the Bermuda triangle hangar is about:
The Bermuda Triangle, also known as the Devil's Triangle, is a loosely-defined region in the western part of the North Atlantic Ocean, where a number of aircraft and ships are said to have disappeared under mysterious circumstances.

Sorry about not getting back to this earlier. The Bermuda Triangle 'hangar' banner looks great! As I don't know how you'd like to license it, would you be able to upload it to the wiki with an appropriate licence? Thank you for updating the Helijah hangar banners as well.

Cheers,
Edward

Hi all,

The FGUK Logo has been revamped, and now is ready.

Who should I speak to for getting it to them?

Cheers

Cheers, my Girlfriend made it for FGUK.

She's a graphic designer, so was nice to have this made.

One could almost have guessed. I really like it, in particular the kerning, :D and to be honest some logotypes (usually for smaller companies) makes me cringe from the kerning alone. :?

By the way, that red element (but as a square) would make for a nice icon if she has not already done that. ;)

I would bet she could make great original liveries. ;)

Thank you for the support :)

She beat you too it
All the elements are to be used separately or combined.

This one should be used for the wiki, matches the FGUK websites theme.

There are two objects in flightgear scenery made my her.

The Las Vegas welcome sign, she did the 3d model, texture, I did the xml.

The EGOV RAF Valley control tower, she did the texture. I made the model.

The EGOD tower, based on the real one. This is available in the FGUK EGOD scenery pack.
She did the texture for it. I made the model.

Probably a bit late to this party, but was a specification agreed for logos, especially a slightly smaller size. I would love to have a logo for use within the Launcher GUI when a hangar is added, and the proposed format (wide and not very tall) would work, but we would need to agree a background colour. I can easily extend the catalog XML to include a link to the hangar's logo then.

I would need some clear specification that logos have a white/black/transparent bleed and are a particular width x height. I would still include the existing hangar description text below the logo of course, but the logo would need to clearly identify the hangar if it's to replace the name.
