Works pretty well in the '37.

an other screen, from nearly empty, i finished near the max landing weight ...
but each time onox took a screen, he loose a few meters, my advice: tune this prop a bit higher:

--prop:/sim/max-simtime-per-frame=3

this allow fg to have some pause (screenshots, loading 3d stuff) without pausing the fdm.
the drawback is that if you're in an engaged position (close to the ground or in high g turn) this can lead you to the ground.

About the mpserver, we seems to all use the mpserver01, but it's not sure this is the best one, in my case, i got ping acceptable with 03,04 and 14. and maybe one of them will give better ping to the people having values in the 150ms range with 01. the only need is the pilot on close formation being on the same server.

Mpserver 04 isn't tracked but the FG Tracker.

If OPRF folks want their hours tracked automagically, they need to use one of these servers.

to onox, what it looks like to refuel from the EC-137D with a cockpit view a bit excentered left (better tanker's belly view):

Image

and your refuel with fb, where you are a bit to aft (need a bit of lag increase):

Image

this is a very good way to try the mp patch (wich was never really put to use before) and to see where it needs improvement.
the tanker's lag settings are ok when the boom show in the good place in the receving plane, as seen by an observator (ie a 3rd pilot).
once this is ok the receving adjust it's lag to have the boom in the good position too.
i know this is a bit of pain to setup, but consider it helping to have later a system to do this automaticaly :)

I think it's time for me to start practicing ATA refueling since it's one of those things I've never been good at... ;)

Very nice to see that he got it working. :D

Regarding air-to-air refueling (AAR), I have collected some resources and ideas (mostly related to "probe and drogue" refueling) on the FlightGear wiki page Aerial refueling improvement ideas and resources (perm).

I plan to write an extension to the AP in the KC-137R that has a specific mode for refueling. Just thought I post that here. ;) That way, the plane won't do stupid things like climb if the pressure changes, or change heading if something else happens.
