Hey, I added the files to the scenery files, regions and textures, but sadly it didn't work. Could you please tell me what I have to do to get this beautiful scenery???

Okay, that'll get difficult as I only know linux....
Now, you have opened your file manager in the fgdata path and folders like
*AI
*Aircraft
*gui
*Scenery
*Materials
*Textures
...
appear?

Righto, then you copy the .xml files into Materials/regions/ and the .png files into Textures/Terrain/

With more info, like FG version, console print, etc, someone with experience under Mac can help you.

Hi flycanarias,

I assume you are using the Launcher.

Under the 'Go' menu in your finder, select 'Go to folder' In the next field type or cut and paste " ~/Library/Application Support/FlightGear/fgfs.log " (without the quote marks) then enter.

That should take you to the hidden folders. Later, when you start modelling or placing models you'll need to know how to get to that folder.

When you download a custom scenery you want to keep it in it's folder - do not separate it into bits. Place that folder in your 'FlightGear/data' folder. You can find your FlightGear/data folder by ctrl+click on the FlightGear folder in your applications folder/Contents/Resources/data.

Go to the 'Add-Ons' page of the Launcher and under the 'Additional scenery locations' field click on the '+'.

You will then get a drop-down which allows you to steer FlightGear to where you've put the scenery folder.

You can do this with every custom scenery you download. Similarly, you can use the field under that one to set a path to your 'aircraft' folder.

If in doubt, let us know.

Great! Do you know when the updated version of El Hierro is also available on TerraSync?

D-ECHO submitted today some models in TerraSync (TS), i don't know if are all the models around EL Hierro (GCHI) of their Island Air zip file (the custom scenery). Next work: La Palma (GCLA)
PS: You need to wait some time to be able to download from TS, isn't too fast..

Hi flycanarias,
So you probably forgot to add the lines calling the Material files to Materials.xml (have a look into the Readme)
