The Airbus A340-200
Image
Based on a desire for an A340-200 for a certain future event I have in my mind, I decided to make this aircraft. It0uchpods made it more interesting by challenging me to do it in under two hours, certain I couldn't. On this Saturday past, I made it, in one hour and fourteen minutes. It is stable, complete, and 'lovely'.

@legoboyvdlp,

Maybe we have difference ideas of the word "stable", I found some issues with it, unfortunately too busy to help right now.

The autopilot has a mind of it's own at times, but that's the only unstable bug I can find :)
I'd appreciate a list of those issues so I can fix them.

OK, I'd appreciate about 12 more hours of daylight, but unfortunately, there isn't that, and I'm to busy to find and list them all right now, after FGFest, things will clear up a little bit.

legoboy,

I tried your plane and it seems pretty nice, but the autopilot definitely has a mind of its own. i wish I could help, but i have no knowledge of flightgear aircraft development.

After FGfest, we can talk about this plane more. I am too busy developing the MD-88/MD-90 s the V2 can be released! Current release date is May 4, and we are on schedule!

Well, now -- there is not much modelling or texturing to be done, apart from cockpit and cabin.

Thanks so much for offering -- do you use Mumble?

Yes I can do the Cockpit or even the cabin, If anybody wants. I haven't used Mumble, but I plan on doing so. Why did you ask about Mumble?

Thanks for taking me in,
Imran

Well, the 'VIP development group' uses Mumble, and I was just wondering if you had it :)
Far easier to speak and develop than type over the forum or Facebook messaging.

@legboyvdlp
Speaking of the VIP Development Group, we plan on redoing the A340s cockpits and AP some time soon. This includes the A340-600HGW, and A340-313X. You may want to take that stuff for your A340-200. (It's GPL)

Looks fine to me. I have my Mumble ready and on fire! Just, where can I get the A340 current repository or any other place which is frequently updated. I also want a copy of the current developing A340 so that I can work on it.
