If you are going to use that script, I recommend use of flybys or anything pounding. The motion is too slow and unrealistic.

It is at half speed deliberately, for frame rate purposes. Just speed up 2x in the video editor. Or modify the nasal, it's really not that difficult. Probably quicker than complainining about it,

Ok I've tried it, 2 problems. The smoke is black, thick and hence ugly. Second, how can I change the livery?

To all others:
Can I check who are available on Dec 26?
(give me the times available so I can get a best timing slot)

I am.
Got 3.7 today. Still using the old catalog from 3.6.
VISIBLE CHANGES
-in Thailand, the Runway shader looks A LOT less California-like than 3.6!
-The new qt5 launcher is here: now with a new, more visually appealing airport selector. Although still buggy, the airport data screen now allows approaches from any distance and offers a nice area map.
-Only the UFOs and c172 is in the base package. You can download the rest in the launcher, however.

The qt5 launcher is in a usable state. Entering the airport details page is the only bug so far.
Yup,I could use fgrun, but I would use qt5 for one release and fgrun for the other,so the environment variables don't overwrite each other.

Hi everyone, here's the summary for tomorrow.

The event will be from 7am UTC to 3pm UTC.

The event is themed as an airshow. For individual aircraft, you don't have to join the event, as you can just upload an FGTape. This event is catered to formation performances and any performance with more than two aircraft.

Everyone is welcome to join as traffic if you don't want to perform. Do note that runway 23/05 is reserved for airshow performances. The rest of you are free to use the other runways. Please do not bombard the chat messages so that the performers and cameramen can coordinate.

For interested performers, leave a note here with the approximate time you want to perform so that I can look out for you. If possible, get Mumble.

Looking forward to see some awesome airmanship tomorrow! :D

Where is the event now? Still Paris Orly (lfpo)?
Will you use Mumble to coordinate or do voice recording?
Be alert that FGcom is now up and running, and the fgcom client is built-in.

The only event is the airshow. The shooting at LFPO will be done by me and some of the KSUU Crew.

Mumble will only be for coordinating, voice-over will be for later.

FGCom is not working for some of us, so we stuck to Mumble

Runway 23: krdu has 2 parallel runway 23s. Is the Airshow on :
-One of them:which?
-Both:keep in mind the other runway available is the short 14/32!

Ok so sorry for the confusion here, the runway is 23R/05L.

The scenery at the airport is comparable to KSFO.

Why don't you just use the FG video assistant? After all, this is what it was created for :)

Don't forget FGCamera. ;)
