THe other thing I did was that I moved the dhc8-300q.xml file to the Models/ directory (where I think it belongs) and edited the path in the -set.xml file ofcourse.
Not sure if that should make any difference...

http://www.mediafire.com/?sharekey=7037901097ae8abb4012e8015643d9c864810a8f8d39a8ef

just unzip into your aircraft folder..

some improvement have been.

Smoother shaping.
cockpit 2/3rds done with most instruments in place and animated.
5 liveries all selectable from the menu.

Walk through view so you can walk in the aisle (although for some reason its temperamental, so might not always work)

I'm still working on it, but will be away from it for a few days, so i thought i would share the improvements.
***fixed*** Livery over MP, now you can everyones different Livery. (thanks Gijs!)

While starting to do the IVA livery I noticed that those liveries are lowres - 512x512 pixels which looks a bit odd.
I fear that the carrib livery with all of its details (ships and trees) will have a rather ugly look.

Is there a chance that the livery texture in the ac file can be changed to higher resolution images before I start?

Hi,
O_o. That would mean extra work for Alex, as I think He'll have to Map the Model Again!
I am Ultra-Busy this week, but I might Try slippling out some, if requested!

BTW: Awesome Model Alex, Cockpit Looks Wonderful!

Just resize a livery to 1024x1024 to use as template, the .ac file does not worry about texture size, you should be able to use it at that size, may need a bit of tweaking though.

my AI repaints were done at 1024x1024 then resized down to 256x256 with no problem apart from the obvious blurring at close range.

Gooney is correct. One of the liveries (the Baracumba, can't tell the name for sure as I'm on a wrong computer) is actually bigger than the others. For the livery system (and model) it doesn't matter how small or big the liveries are. Just make sure that you keep the ratio intact (if you increase the heigth by 2, you should do the same for the width...).

as long as the textures follow the same map that i have done then it doesnt matter about the textures size, quality wise maybe it does, dont forget each 1024 x 1024 texture adds about 750kb - 1mb of extra space, hence doing them at 512x512.

here's the next one done.
