FlightGear Screenshot of the Month: November 2015

Postby MSA-S23 » Sun Nov 01, 2015 4:30 pm

Hello!

I was asked to do the FlightGear November and December 2015 S-O-T-M, so here I am, doing it.

One screenshot per person please! Voting begins November 20th. Get your screenshots in before it's too late.

Rules:
1. 15 entries (because a poll can only have 15 options)
2. Only one entry per person to give everyone a fair chance of submitting a screenshot.
3. You may enter one extra for somebody else. This person of course can submit their own candidate.
4. Please convert to jpg from png (plenty of converters online).
5. Has to be taken with FlightGear with a non-ai airplane somewhere in it unless it is a pure-scenery or AI screenshot.
6. Every entry should have a caption.
7. Screenies must not be post-processed. That is against the rules. :D

Candidates:

EchoirTraveller (D-ECHO)
Light and Mirage (MIG29Pilot)
Not such a good place to park... (MSA-S23)
OH-CTL over LOWI on an autumn setting on late afternoon (geed)
F15C on Pianura Padana near Milan, Italy (abassign)
Scrabo India, vacate to left (Legoboyvdlp)
Sightseeing over the Grand Canyon (DG-505)
Starting my Mirage 2000-5 on a frozen morning in the french Alps (hardba11)
Morning Star Patrol, somewhere South of St. Die. (LesterBoffo)
Running the pylons (PINTO)
A snowy Samedan airport. (Martien van der P.)
Nasa-1 request startup (Webpage)
Dewoitine D.520 commemoration flight over Paris (Richard)
Inverted flight under the Golden Gate Bridge. (Turbo)
KSFO at Dawn (Parnikkapore)

Cheers!

Ash

I saw D-ECHO's 'too late' screenshot.

Posting it here!

Thanks, Ash.

What about some rules?

Like only 15 entries are possible.
Or converting zo jpg-format.
Or about a suitable caption for a person's entry.
Or that the screenies must not be post-processed. Well, in this point the views diverge...

Best regards
Jonathan

I'd really appreciate if that's added to the rules. As we spoke before, maybe it would be better to create a separate contest for post processed images and which images won't go to the wiki.

Well, haven't you changed your avatar!

We should stop free discussion, it might confuse readers.

Thanks for the cooperation, guys, I really appreciate. Currently I am also talking with Johan G to create some clear guidelines about screenshots in our wiki and official pages, ok?

Oh by the way, due to all this recent talk about post-editing lately, how about a new FlightGear photography and art contest: most artistically edited and compelling pictures made from FG screenshots?
