Oh, didn't cross my mind it would be related to the pink rain I see sometimes, but of course it makes sense once you tell me that!
Hm, come to think of it, there are also no clouds drawn beyond a modest distance, there's just the haze layer visible - what's your cloud drawing range setting?
It was set to 10000m because recently I had deleted all my preferences trying to fix a bug with my Failure Manager, and I forgot to bring that value up. I normally use around 25000m.
It doesn't happen to me, and judging by some other screenshots I have seen it doesn't happen to others, so I don't really know what is different for you. We need something like a console error or another pointer to start to investigate.
Yeah, it seems my video card isn't very FG-friendly. I have this issue with the rain, the strange water colour that appear sometimes at low angles as well as those disappearing runway lights (but not PAPI nor city lights).
We can of course investigate this further if you'd have some idea about it, but to be frank I thought that this could have been a problem with the rain itself in FG and that's why I report. If I am the only one seeing this then there is much less priority in solving this, and I can live with it as well.
