Is it possible to attend virtually with a video stream? Or interactive online exhibit

That'll be a great plus. Maybe you guys can host it on twitch or something.

Unfortunately the venue has no internet available, otherwise some sort of live streaming would be awesome.

looking forward to see you all again!

I was thinking to get a dutch prepaid SIM card for internet, but I think it is not possible
to just buy it and use it immedately. the provider has to activate it, which might take a day or 2.
it is possible to buy such cards on ebay but its too late for this year with shipping & activation. :-(

FWIW, you can buy prepaid SIM cards almost everywhere in Amsterdam - so there's no shipping involved, and activation is basically "instant", too (15-30 minutes at most).
Please don't send support requests by PM, instead post your questions on the forum so that all users can contribute and benefit
Thanks & all the best,

We tried that once without much success. Inside the building, the signal strength is weak. When the hall gets populated with thousands of nerds, all using their smartphones and hundreds of computers and other electronic devices producing RF noise, data transfer rates are far from being broadband.
One might be able to check e-mails, but no chance getting the multiplayer data or streaming video through this weak link.
Buying a SIM for this purpose is a waste of money.

Hello,

Luckily I was in AMS saturday and able to visit the Flightgear stand.
Thanks to the "leading / demo" team of Flightgear for their warm welcome, the fantastic job and ....
the two circuits with engine failure in Seneca :D

Just wondering.
How do you get an exhibit at FSweekend?
With my big teen ideas, (you know what it is like, you get these big, mostly un-fulfillable plans, dreams, and ideas) I'd love an exhibit which showcases volunteer work on FlightGear, such as my own Venezuela scenery, Gsatogohino's (well, not his, but he was the leader, mainly) Cessna and textures, or the 727-230.
Can just any Tom Dick or Harry send an email, asking for a corner?
Or even better, can any forum member (that is fairly active, mature) ask to collaborate at the FlightGear booth?
Not planning it obviously, (I will not even be to Europe till 2017, and then, to UK, not to Netherlands!), but others?
Like, could gsatogohino ask permission to bring a computer along and show off his wonderful textures and Cessna?

I do realize that all this is shown in the official exhibit.
Regards,
Jonathan / LEGO

If you post a picture of yourself and your name, I'll tell you who on the pic I am :-)
