Here: https://github.com/FGMEMBERS/727-230

or development here: https://github.com/IAHM-COL/727-230

You may still not like it, but give it a try.
Recently we had been working on a lot of stuff with it

1. New exterior
2. New cockpit work
3. New FDM and autopilot (systems)

All work in progress

Hi! I have downloaded aircraft from https://github.com/FGMEMBERS/727-230 and I have error in log:
Code: Select all
loadxml: Cannot find XML property file 'Aircraft/JPack/Voodoomaster/Steering/SteeringDialog.xml'.

Do I need to have another aircraft installed? It seems to be wrong.
Boeing 737-300. Reworked cockpit, FDM, autopilot and much more. WIP.
Boeing 737-800. WIP. Canvas PFD and ND.
Antonov An-24B. Made from scratch. Very good FDM. 3D model by Adrian. WIP.

Thanks for the report Soitanen :D It does look like an err slipped. We'll look at this

Soitanen,

that one is on me. I implmented a quick hack for someone who has a problem using his feet on the pedals and accidentally put a link to JPack in it. You can, as a workaround, load the JPack from FGMEMBERS/JPack and I will take care of it as soon as I have taken care of some other rather urgent planes (767s needed for the next USA Tour leg and maybe a little Airbus-repair). Sorry for the inconvenience!

Ok, I'll just wait for normal behavior, don't want to download aircraft which I don't need.

Another question: I see aileron and roll spoilers reversal in animation. I see this before, when I did JSBSim FDM for aircarft originally released with YASIM FDM. What FDM is main for this project? Asking because I'm interested to take part in this project in FDM part (also I want to take pause in my 738 FDM investigation).

Hello guys!
The Model, and the cockpit background has improved SOO much. WOW! but I can not see any instruments. Is it a problem with my computer, or is it just not there yet?

There should be some instruments already. Not all of them.
If you don't see ANY instrument, that could be a problem on our side.
If you see some, then it means that's how far we've got

Well.. The JSB is a whole another surgery. The Yasim version is almost abandoned, because no YASIM coder has jump in the project, but the JSBsim version flies and feels muuuch better.

(also, a new autopilot that gives more air-smooth operations)

So, surely, give'er a spin ;P

No default.
If you can/know/want to bring the Yasim FDM up to speed that'll be awesome!

Other than that is getting so lay behind that takes the risk upon being dropped, and becoming a JSBsim-only alternative.

If you are much more comfortable with JSBsim, then go for it :) [I've just gave you push access to IAHM-COL's fork]

This one may be on me
The wings on this bird are super complicated, and I may have some problems on the 3d model names still hanging around, which makes the wings' surfaces animations not cute.

I will put this in my todo queue.

Yes, I'm JSBSim guy, I dislike YASim due to it's limitations.
I see many mistakes in engine placement, gear placement and something else in JSBSim files, so I'll try to fix this ASAP.

Thank you for push rights, but I'll try to make usual pull requests for first time.

yeah. that works.
Push access means, in addition, you can finish the PRs yourself, and merge.

Thanks for looking at this, too :D

Oh hello people!
Some change in my earlier comment: I can see instruments for the cockpit in the 727-230ADV. But in the 727-230 and the 727-230F, I can't see any instruments at all. Also, I don't have autopilot, so I was wondering if thats normal.
I'm not saying that this cockpit is bad. The 727s are a very good aircraft, and I love it!
Good luck people!

All you said is 100percent exact. Work in progress. (expect those words to be repeated "ad nauseaum" --like my friend says)

Edit
Well. Autopilot. It is not yet implemented in the cockpit.
The F11 buton brings you a functional systems 9 autopilot that flies actually quite well

Yes, but the funny bit is that "work in progress" is always about the looks, liveries. Never about fdm or instruments, as far as i can read in this thread.

Kind regards, Vincent
