This is not really one of "my" planes, so JPack independent. Technique is the same only we copy the instruments into the 727 project and change the path accordingly. The positioning ans scaling is the same. I am right now a little busy, but next week, I will jump on the 727 again for a day or two.

@LEGO

I just saw your DHL Livery... Damn BOY!

(I am going to say this in "Venezuelan Spanish"; to honor the flag and callsign you applied to it)

TE FAJASTE, PANA!!!

I Freakin' love it! You've gotta see it in the "new cabin" branch with all the shaders maxed! 8)
[And unlike the picture below, use the freighter 727-230F-JSB, not the Advanced 727-230ADV-JSB --oops--]

If we gave everybody in the World free software today, but we failed to teach them about the four freedoms, five years from now, would they still have it? Probably not, because if they don’t recognise their freedoms, they’ll let their freedoms fall

I am sorry Israel but I don't get it, what exactly are you asking for? Some livery?

Oh, I see now, you mean that special American Airlines livery! The problem was that your picture above of this livery isn't showing to me so I got confused what was it about. Just confirm me if this is the one you'd like:

It would be my pleasure to work on it :)

yes. That rarity. But beauty. I am thrilled to fly that one and get some screenshots on it too

Also, I think we should get a quest for ppl to submit us some 727 refurbished screenshots, so we can make a series of Random Splashups too :D

Maybe shots that show the new ADVanced winglets, some classical versions, and a few cargo flights, with all the shaders fun.

That'll be awesome!

Okay, I will work on it straight away! And sorry about the Transbrasil, I didn't get much chance to work on any big project lately. RL has been so annoying in the past weeks... but I will move to this AAL livery right now and then go back to the Transbrasil.

That sounds good, but it would be nice to have some minimal guidelines for quality (since voting can select problematic images). E.g. no fps indicator in the corner, using advanced weather, etc. You could also simply request people to send the shots and select them yourself.

And to the other people making textures: please check how the nose of the airplane is looking with your liveries, so many of them are not matching and it doesn't look good when that happens..

I agree.
The good thing is that I have stressed enough to put the sources (xcf) in the sources repository, so I am actually able to fix those noses up myself, if the original designer does not come around ;)

@Israel Great! I may be able to help with it later as well, but right now my hands are full :)

Also, can I suggest an addition to the normal map? What about making this arch via the normal map, so that we don't need to add it to every single livery? See:

Sure... that's very doable, and it is definitely a bump-map type of situation. Not a livery one.
(keep in mind it will be a deep, not Grey colored!)

EDIT: I know that. If colour would be a problem for a particular livery then it can be done by the texturizer, but at least this part will be present in the plane regardless of livery :).
