Hey how much does that plane cost? I could put it in the barn, take off from my 250 foot driveway, and fly around the town with it!

Where is it? Does it have a code? Is it in fg?

@legoboybdlp It's probably a small private runway and I doubt it's in FG, but I could be wrong.

Looks like all the info you need is here:

Could an FG plane developer please make this plane.

Cheers,

I thought there was a Zenith aircraft on Longfly's website?

KFFA First Flight Airport where the Wright Bros. worked has a pretty short runway available in FG. Not as short as the one above, but still pretty challenging, depending on the plane :)

I wanted to add this landing video, as I was up there on this 'mountain' (it's really an inselberg.) back in April of last year, having ridden my motorbike to the top. I'm informed it's a favorite launch spot for local Willamette Valley hang glider pilots.

Those vids are fun. I can hardly wait until the OSG > FG improvements make their way to the Pac-NorthWest terrain in TerraGear, because it will likely have the cleared area on top of Prairie Mountain and it will make a fine MP event

What are these OSG -> FG improvements you are talking about?

Lost my link to the page.. Maybe I'm thinking of Open Street Map's website with the downloads for landclasses and height-maps to make in TerraGear?

I know they just recently did a big revision of the older scenery for the PNW, and the complexity of the landclasses, includes the checker-boarding of the forests from recent heavy logging Oregon has had for the last 10 years. And I recall it had a lot more open spaces in what is normally a horizon to horizon coniferous forests in FG.

Regarding the Prairie Mountain video I have but two sentences: "Twenty year old 'immortals'." That looked quite sketchy from a safety standpoint. ;)
Low-level flying — It's all fun and games till someone looses an engine. (Paraphrased from a YouTube video)

@LesterBoffo I believe we don't currently use OSM because even though it has much better location of roads and coasts the landclasses are much too simple (there are too few types of them!). It's a pity as nothing breaks immersion more than a "squared" bay.

@Johan G The same thing I thought as watching it, not safe at all IMO.
