@LesterBoffo I love that second screenshot, the shadows in the mountains are looking so nice!

You have a serious case of cloud addiction. I recommend you a high dose of tropical patrols in clear blue skies :o)

It's from living in Oregon, the skies look empty when there's no clouds

Really nice shots, LesterBoffo :)

Did some aerobatics around San Fransisco, practised mountain flying with the R-44 in the Alps and made a few orbits with the Shuttle:

Ah, and tried (and failed) some carrier landings on the Vinson with Richard's new F-14B:

Of course, it's possible to land on runway 12 at Saba- though I think this is even more tricky

@warty: does our Saba (TNCS) really look like it has a rock face in front of it? i watched a few other TNCS rwy12 landings and it looks like they are able to come straight in and not weave around some sort of rock face... look at how this twin otter is able to line up... seems to indicate that we've got some land rebuilding to be done...

"You get more air close to the ground," said Angalo. "I read that in a book. You get lots of air low down, and not much when you go up."
"Why not?" said Gurder.
"Dunno. It's frightened of heights, I guess."

@dg-505, your top screenshot and your bottom screenshot look really odd, in the colouration mostly. What did you do to them?
