The new windows version of 1.9.0 of FG has a check box in the menu called terrasync. When I check it nothing seems to happen. Is something suppose to happen. How do you make it work whatever it is.

Hi,
Terrasync is an Application, which Downloads Scenery for you as you Fly. You get only a small portion around San Francisco when you download FG, and Terrasync helps you to get the rest of the world!

If you fly west you'll reach the ocean pretty quickly. My favorite way to fly out of KSFO is north and then east, towards Sacramento.

If you didn't realize that already, you must start the TerraSync application that is located in the tools submenu of the Flightgear start menu. After that, checking the TerraSync option in fgrun will create the link between flightgear and terrasync, provided you didn't changed the default options, or you changed them accordingly in both applications ( terrasync and fgrun )
