I do not understand how you can touchdown dry in that area. In my scenery there is a flood at exactly that point at the beginning of the rw.

Kind regards, Vincent

@KL-666 The terrasync scenery is flooded. There is a corrected costum scenery. Look around in the forum, you will find it.

I also had a hard time with TerraSync so I just manually downloaded the sceneries to FG

If you mean my custom scenery, yes, it is lighter than TerraSync. It is simply a small area of 1.0 scenery, which if the paths are set up right, is overlaid over the TNCM. You can see 2.12 on the rest of the world!

KL-666 - I use the old scenery tile for tncm for exactly that reason.

About fps: my fps is fine. You'll have to try it and see if it works for you. The first time I load an external view, there's a delay while it loads the high-res livery textures, but its fine after that.

When flying with a complex aircraft with the scenery, yes, my poor 4GB RAM & i5 processor laptop lagged so much to 15fps, when flying in cockpit without scenery, it works like a charm.
A simpler airplane(like the original B777) would work in high fps even in external view and with an airport in sight so it depends.
Cheers.

Just to ask... That TNCM scenery is the 2.0 Scenery or something else? Cause my scenery of that airport is full of holes...and it's downloaded via Terrasync. The rw is missing at some places.

Also I have a problem with this amazing aircraft...some displays in the cockpit are white

BTW nice livery. :D

Best regards.

That is to say, not scenery 2.0, not from TerraSync. It's the scenery from the FG webpage.

For the white displays, I'm going to guess it's the NavDisplays? If you're still on FG2.8, those won't work for you. I don't think the ND works until FG3.0 and later. Screenshots would help, but error messages from the console would help even more. I've only so far tested in the git version of FG, so I can't speak to compatibility with earlier versions, but I can't see any technical reason why it shouldn't work with 3.2 and 3.4.

For tncm i chose the other tip of custom scenery, because i feared a whole tile would affect too much area.

Found the scenery on the forum by searching "tncm custom".

Thanks anyway, Vincent

I discovered, while having the same issue as berkut that when I run a plane with a canvas navdisplay and rembrandt off, I get the white screen. If I turn rembrandt on, I get a navDisplay. I click on the nav display in either case and I only get a white canvas dialog.

YMMV -- Ray :)

I can see the ND just fine using ALS and the default rendering scheme. I never use Rembrandt, so I wouldn't know what any of the aircraft do in that regime.

I've never used Rembrandt until recently, while testing a problem with the DHC6 landing lights cone. Having done so has caused me to try testing it in the presence of other aircraft.

Currently as I type, I'm in the 777 with rembrandt on, and you can't see me in the MP map because I made the error of trying to see the hotspots on the MCP hehe :) . So in this case I am suffering an immense latency and trying to remain patient until it resolves. Same happened to me in the MD-10Fictional (for want of a better description) by DrDavid yesterday. The latency seems to be a problem with the hot-spots and Rembrandt. Wish me luck to finish the flight without restarting, and don't remind me to forget (hehe ) to shut shut off Rembrandt on planes until I learn the hot-spots :)

-my best to you
