congratulations for the work done in these military bases in Italy. It looks awesome!! Personally, I think it should also be improved (as a priority) airports and cities in the area where the festival was selected, no need for LOWI, it's sufficiently developed but Vienna, Zurich and Geneva is lacking the main terminals and aiport architecture, as well as shared objects in the area. I think is also important to create several buildings in the nearby cities.

Thank you! :D You haven't seen the best parts yet  .

Well, my Aviano development started in the end of August of 2014 and it is my very first WED custom layout. Since I could almost consider it my "home" in FG, and also in the real life (I don't live too far from it), for me is the most important one and it not depends on the Festival. I decided to post in because it is close to the Festival's area, but that does not mean it will be the only airport involved in the development of the event. This is what I can say form my part.
Having said that, I do not know if I can do something more for the event (at most I'll place some buildings/objects, but I can't afford another 2D development since I'm working already on about 10 different airports), given that I'm going to schedule one for a whole weekend at LIPA in mid-August with also some airshows, so I have to finish the basic scenery for that date.
By the way, it's too early for me to say something certain about the event.
Hope that clarifies a bit the ideas  .
Kind regards, Maverick

Cool! Don't worry. I'm sure the FG community will help improving selected areas/aiports. Your job here is also important and unique.
:)

I will be scheduling ATC service as APP/DEP for Buenos Aires' SAEZ.
Beautifully modelled airport. Great proccedures, including overhead approaches.

I look forward to this event.
See a few screenshots of my last arrived LAP4244, from Asuncion to Buenos Aires

Althought clearly the Spring Festival has not make big headlines, and no major effort had seem to be made by the community
I announced earlier that I will be offering schedules service for the Spring Festival Argentina/Brazil 2015.

I will be offering SAEZ APP/DEP services both May 2nd and May3rd starting around 17UTC till about 22 or 23 UTC both days.
You will find voice service provided in mumble as well.

I encourage others to join in. Either as ATC in other areas of the event, or bringing aircraft, and pilot around.

Hope to see you there
IH-COL

PS: I had not been able to reaccess the ATC page of flightgear, but feel free to leave notifications of attendance or flight-plans below in this thread :D
I will be following it

Also, file planning is not required. And experience with ATC services not required either, but come willing to learn :D
If we gave everybody in the World free software today, but we failed to teach them about the four freedoms, five years from now, would they still have it? Probably not, because if they don’t recognise their freedoms, they’ll let their freedoms fall

Hope you don't mind if I provide ground/tower services at SAEZ (just like I did with LEBL last time), assuming my bandwidth cap is reset in the upcoming days?

(Also, I've been working on OpenRadar files for the airport in the last days - I'm going to publish them tomorrow/on Tuesday).

It seems to me that Brazil was forgotten, I can not see any motivation from the Brazilians and also the FG community of other countries in relation to Brazil.

I know. very low activity over the planning of the festival
I hope someone serves the southern-eastern brazil airports, like the rio de janeiro or sao paulo areas ...

I can't ATC (you would hate to be ATCed by an inept ATC) but I fly in Saturday with my 747-8VVIP to Buenos Aires, probably incoming from the Caribbean. Whoever wants to join me and make a flock of big fat birds is welcome. What happens after the arrival, who knows? Maybe I try to fly some barrel rolls in the JSB-version of the 727?

Pilots are needed Jwocky. That's awesome. The boring events are those with a highest ATC|Pilot ratio. Less ATCs more pilots. That 's the goal.

Elgaton and I are the first two confirmed ATCs.
We will both be in Buenos Aires.

Hopefully someothers (around two maybe) are willing to join the fun in Brazil, so both countries get a representation...
Brazil's scenery has so many beautiful stuff work by the FGBR, that it will be a shame missing this opportunity.

I am on the edge of my seat to see if some volunteer...

Best,
IH-COL
