Does Flightgear crash or does it run too slowly? If it crashes, does it always crash or only sometimes?
I'm using Linux Mint 17.1 Flightgear version 3.0.0 I don't know how to find out what video I have.
Open a terminal and type "lspci" (without the quotes). This shows information about your hardware, including video.
While you have the terminal window open, type "free". This shows how much memory you have.
Now type "head /proc/cpuinfo". This shows information about your processor.
For example:
- Code: Select all
vegan:~$ lspci
...
vegan:~$ free
...
vegan:~$ head /proc/cpuinfo
...
Copy and paste the output of these commands into your reply (where I have shown "...").
Also try to answer the other questions in the pink box:
- does the problem occur with any aircraft, at any airport?
- is there any output printed to the console (black window)?
- copy&paste your commandline (tick the "Show commandline box on the last page of FGRun or the "Others" section on the Mac launcher).
