Well that was a lot of fun :)

I just managed to find a window in the weather to squeeze between the Rockies and the clouds:

Image

The approach to Jackson Hole was borderline for VFR and not weather to be practicing touch and go really.

Image

Pattern entry was a bit off target but I got down and back up and down again.

Image

I forgot how good the DHC2 is; once it's trimmed, it flies like it's on autopilot and it's really stable in turns.

Amazing Screenshots G-SHOZ!
You are having fun in the west! :D
If we gave everybody in the World free software today, but we failed to teach them about the four freedoms, five years from now, would they still have it? Probably not, because if they don’t recognise their freedoms, they’ll let their freedoms fall

Well done Turbo.

The weather at BIKF can be a real challenge. I went there once, on an Icelandair connecting flight from Washington DC; the landing was a bit bumpy but the wind chill walking from the aircraft to terminal was just painful. I looked at the METAR and it's 36kts again today.
