Thank you for your answer. It seems like not so much people have this problem. Where can it be located in the xmls ?
I'll try to compare the code with other aircrafts with tiller steering. Maybe that's this. Or not....
Also it's FG 3.0 from the arch repo, so maybe it's not the latest version.
Anyway thank you for the help.

Just downloaded it and I love it!
Just a question, if I fill all tanks, nothing goes (means no tank can be active). Am I over some limits with all tanks full (777-200LR-S)

You need to on the center fuel pumps of overhead panel.
I may need some tweak but it should work.

Thanks that works, and Rembrandt runs now for almost two hours on my GPU and still no crash, so I guess, it's good. Thanks again.

Just got around to test this gem for the first time -- great job!

On landing, however, I noticed the brakes are a bit too good. So I conducted RTO tests, see viewtopic.php?f=4&t=18134
Result: at MTOW of 656,000 lbs, zero winds, flaps 5 deg, going from 190 KTS to 0 in 19.6 s, yielding a mean deceleration of 5 m/s^2.

That is a bit to much. From all sources (see refs in the above link) I have consulted so far, airliner brakes perform more in the 3..4 m/s^2 range. For example, A380 brakes are rated 3.6 m/s^2. I also recall A310 brakes I've seen at a museum in Munich which also said 3,something m/s^2.

A quick grep didn't show any hits for STATIC_FRICTION. I recon that's because it's YASIM, which I unfortunately know next to nothing about.
Can someone who knows the details of the brake system used here fix this, please?

I noticed that the mediafire files were outdated versions of the aircraft. Therefore i went ahead to download it directly from git, but the download returns a not found error on chrome.
Can someone direct me?

It's a Gitorious bug, apparently. You can either:

Could you upload it to mediafire or something?
Thank you!

Here it is: 777-seattle-20140909.zip (beware - for size reasons, I did not include the .git subdirectory, which means you won't be able to update the aircraft via Git, you'll have to download a .zip or .tar.gz file of the whole plane each time).

I tried your download, but its just a regular 777. Nothing special.

Did you move the old "777" directory in the Aircraft folder out of the way and rename the "fg777_seattle" directory to "777"? Otherwise FlightGear will load the old plane.

After playing around with the 777 seattle for ~15 minutes, i really enjoyed it. The previous 777 version got me around 40 to 50fps, but this one gets me around 20 to 25fps which is actually not bad, specially with the 3D cockpit (at least its flyable ;)

I would like to see the following added in the future releases:
-Wing Flex like on the A330
-Sound improvements. E.g. Engine sounds are not that great
-Better aerodynamics - Not trying to compare this to the A330 in FG, but i feel that the A330 is a bit more aerodynamically optimized and responds well to certain factors better than the 777.

Thats all i can think of. Thank you to the dev team for the progress so far :)
