Where can I find a list of all the compatible 3D model file formats? Thanks.

The new OpenSceneGraph based development branch and the current plib based version handle different sets of formats and with different compatibility problems. I would recommend you to convert your models to AC3D, which is the most used format in FlightGear and should also be the most well-tested.

Thanks for the response. Does anyone know of a free 3D file conversion program?
