OpenRadar is a standalone radar screen which connects to the FlightGear multiplayer servers. It is currently being developed.

do we have access to any airway data somewhere (OR or elsewhere) ?
We have a long-standing feature request to display airways directly in FG: http://wiki.flightgear.org/Map#Planned_Improvements

This is something that we could now support fairly easily once we can get our hands on the data :D

oops, that is embarrassing - there must be more to it, or why hasn't this ever been implemented (as in, years) ?
Need to check if this is currently exposed to Nasal via the FGPositioned APIs ...
