As you can see they are not. :)

Like I said before...I give up of the code share idea completely. It's impossible to actually make it work so it's better this way. Right now ,I'm mostly flying around Balkans and Asia...just to try that area.

Union Virtual Airlines ,was renamed to Union virtual Airways....then closed....

By the end of last year, reopened and renamed again to Union Airways virtual....so that's the same airline...with same CEO...me. And just like before,I'm still alone here.

But anyway...it's still the only VA in the Balkans so that means a lot to me,therefore I will not close it again. In the time when I was starting up the old UVA,I was much younger and much less patient . OK it hurts a bit to see that I'm alone in the airline...but there's not much I can do. :?

I have plans to add some interesting aircraft to the fleet. A lot of destinations is already there but I will slowly add more...and that's about it regarding promotion of the airline. The only thing which could help me gain more pilots and activity is to FGFS becomes much ,much more popular...or that some of the big ones go bust....

Frankly ,i believe in the first possibility. :D

So welcome to Union Airways.. :D

Cheers

With the summer closing in,it's time for our summer destinations..

First of them will be Araxos LGRX in Greece .

Araxos Airport (IATA: GPA, ICAO: LGRX) is an international military / civilian airport located near Araxos cape, Achaea, Greece. It serves the city of Patras as well as the western Peloponnese. It is also known as Araxos National Airport or Agamemnon Airport.

With the longest runway ,measuring more than 3,5 km (10 997 ft) ,the landing and take off are not a problem, even with some wide-body aircraft.

But ,thanks to it's position, beware of the strong crosswinds.

This destination will be served every day, till the end of summer. Araxos will be served by a new addition to our fleet.
The DHC-8 Q400 is replaced by the Bombardier CRJ-200.

Even though it's smaller, the ability to take off and land on short runways, along with it's good fuel burn and range, makes it perfect for short haul and flights to the airports with short runways.

Till the end of the summer, there will be more interesting summer destinations.

A few days a go,the story of our airline originally started.

On the 15. of April last year, the Union Virtual Airlines started it's regular operations. At that time and even now,Union is the only active and operative virtual airline in the Balkans and South East Europe. Also, the only airline airline regularly serving the airports in the ex Yugoslav countries: Slovenia,Croatia,Republic of Srpska ,Bosnia and Herzegovina,Serbia,Montenegro and Macedonia,as well as EU.

Now,Union Airways virtual ,as a successor of that airline, still flies and struggles, but we hope to attract pilots,by being interesting and persistent.

New destinations every month ,and a lot of interesting news wait for all all of you at the only FGFS based virtual airline in South East Europe and Balkans.

Hello everyone.

We are planing to go for a paid PHP hosting. Right now,we are in the process of looking for a best web hosting. If we succeed in it,we will be able to implement just about everything that all other VAs have here in FlightGear.

This will open a lot more possibilities for us to expand and become much more interesting airline.

Anyway, next month we will introduce new destinations and a new HUB,so stay tuned and join us.

Oh God! that looks severe :|
I am sorry. I hope the country will recover soon. and I also hope you and your family are in health.
If we gave everybody in the World free software today, but we failed to teach them about the four freedoms, five years from now, would they still have it? Probably not, because if they don’t recognise their freedoms, they’ll let their freedoms fall
