I am one of the poor gullible suckers who got scammed by "ProFlightSimulator", proported to be the ONLY one that works with 64 bit processors! After no luck in getting going, I was told to download FlightGear on top of ProFlight Simulator, but it still doesn't work.
I doubt I'll ever get my money back! However, does FlightGear work on my Win7 64 bit processor?
thanks! Anxious to get going!

Hi Dr. Bob,

I was able to get my money back from them... It was a while back, almost 2 and a half years ago. FG 2.10 is much better than what you got which is essentially version 2.0.

I can also confirm that FG 2.10 works well on a Windows 7 64 bit machine.

Hi, Guys

Just another mug who got scammed by them a week or so ago, as my wife bought PFS Deluxe version as a download for my
Xmas present. Cost her about £48 ($77).

I had already bought FlighGear has a 4 set of DVD's from a seller on eBay.co.uk a week before and she thought that, because
i had not got it working, She would surprise me. They told me that they do not offer payment back on the downloaded files bought.

I only paid about £2.99 for the flighgear DVD's and was not upset that i could not get it working at that price.

The cost of the PFS would have been ok, even if it was the same as flightgear as long as the bloody thing worked.
I knew instantly, when i had installed and run the PFS, that if anything it was a ripoff of FlightGear and it also had the same problem
with graphics on my machine and the only visable difference from flightgear was the interface for installing the aircraft and scenery,
unless you installed the 64bit version over the top PFS and then the interface is identical to FG.

Maybe we scammed PFS purchasers should form our own club, ready for the future scammed buyers.

I am going to wipe all the files off of my drive of PFS and try my hardest to get FG going. With that said, i may well need some
solid advice from the users that are here. Till then take care and keep on flying.

ask your credit card processor for a refund, or simplly get in touch with the corresponding affiliate program - probably CJ or ClickBank, quite a few folks got their money back that way.
Please don't send support requests by PM, instead post your questions on the forum so that all users can contribute and benefit

Also feel free to ask for help getting FlightGear running on your machine in the support forum. People will generally bend over backwards if you supply enough info and do your part. Also depending on what version was shipped on the DVDs you purchased you might be better off downloading the latest version from the FG website.

I should add that some video hardware may not allow FG to run the way it should. If that turns out to be the case with your machine for only a little more than your wife spent on PFS software you can upgrade your graphics hardware so that it runs FlightGear very nicely.

Janrippl, They aren't really breaking any laws as flightgear is realised under GNU GPL (http://wiki.flightgear.org/GNU_General_Public_License). This is more of an ethical issue. Anyone making videos, Proflightsimulator have been known to copy videos. I would put a small Flightgear watermark on youtube videos for those of you who make them.

Chalk up another victim to these crooks. I paid for this and it doesn't even work, it crashes just as the cockpit is loading.

I've just installed FG and it works perfectly.

I'm applying for a Debit Card Chargeback but I'm not holding out much hope.

Shame on you.... stealing others' hard work and selling it off as your own!!!

Just for spite, I've put a spam complaint into their domain provider and suggest everyone does the same.

It's not illegal, just immoral to do it..... sound familiar?
