"The Flying Meatball"

Postby E-Savageair » Fri Oct 24, 2008 2:19 am

Hello everyone,

I know there's still controversy flying around  about the Frontier plane, so it's flying in my airspace for now.
But here's a plane without that problem: I'm testing the Continental "meatball" livery right now, and it's based off an actual
plane. :) I tried to get as close to reproducing the Continental letting as I could with the tracing I did.

So here is the todo: Clean the mapping, color placement, add the flag, and the registration.

Next up, As I choose to accept it: The 70's United "Widget" design.
Again please let me know what you think.

Till Then,

I think it's awesome that we have someone dedicated to these more, shall we say, "vintage" liveries. Makes our collection way more diverse.

Great painting! Would love to fly it!
The colors look a bit unrealistic compared to the picture below. Maybey it's just the reflection in FG, or the picture is to old.
Also, the tail part misses a piece of yellow/gold. The one around the elevators. You probably already changed it ;)
