Custom (Fantasy) Caribbean scenery project

Postby DutchPilotMitchell » Tue May 21, 2013 6:28 pm

Hey,

So because I've had a few requests from people to download my custom scenery I decided to make a topic out of it where I regularly post new pictures and updates.

What I've done is I've put a lot of buildings, aircraft, cars, trains, ships and other nice things on a few islands somewhere near the Netherlands Antilles. I've always wanted something like this and having all sorts of little buildings and bridges everywhere makes FG a lot more fun. It's actually quite easy to do so if you have any requests or ideas just ask me :D The Airport where you want to start on is TKPK, from there you can go either left of right to the other islands and explore!

Version 1.2 May 22

Added a few more villages and some tourist attractions.

I've added a WWII airport. It has some B-17 bombers lined up, Hellcats in the hangars and some tanks guarding the airport and the buildings.

You need to have all the latest shared scenery models! get themfrom here: http://scenemodels.flightgear.org/

I don't think that it would be a good idea to post all the pictures double, so here are some older pictures of the other side of the island: viewtopic.php?f=19&t=19294&start=75

Still more to come so check back regularly

Don't worry, it may take some time.

To put another bait on the hook you could add a notice, preferably with a screenshot, in the newsletter under the Scenery corner headline. Make sure you mention what you enjoy with it.

neither are any of the pictures... all they show is a grey triangle with an exclamation point in the middle of it...
"You get more air close to the ground," said Angalo. "I read that in a book. You get lots of air low down, and not much when you go up."
"Why not?" said Gurder.
"Dunno. It's frightened of heights, I guess."
