Hi Johan G

Oh yes! You are quite RIGHT! For some reason I did not notice the --verbose command in 439Tiger's post. I should have spotted that. Without that I assume you get no errors at all and it will run much quicker..... Assume 439Tiger will give us an update.

All the best

I can't explain why I never have thought of that it might be much faster without --verbose.

Yes I did put --verbose on my command line, I wanted to see what my computer was up to. I think I might take you up on your offer Upkeep, I looked into the other discussion regargding Atlas 0.5.0 and it seems that the airport info is better organized from the screenshots I saw...

Dear 439 Tiger:

I will PM you with my notes. Please bear in mind there is a lot of repetition in the notes as it took me a while to get it working.

All the best

HAY!
If you look at the command help texts map -help etc, you will see that the author has a path..... that does not include "program files". Thus... eliminating the problem of program files in the command line.
He runs flightgear off the root drive, not nested in sub-directories. This is a practice I have not seen since the old Dos days. I have followed this not only with Atlas, but with scenery and Fgcom.
Works fine, and if I have to replace Flightgear or what ever, it makes for a cleaner sweep.
FWIW :)
Prime example of what happens when you put a monkey in a capsule full of buttons and switches...Now, wheres that damn banana?...
