Mediawiki

I'm asking the question here because the wiki article I want ti write is hardware related and can't find a more suitable forum. Where does one download it? Is it "live", insomuch as if you save what you have written is posted immediately?

No need to download anything. MediaWiki is a webapp, so you simply login to the wiki and make your edits in your favourite browsers.

When you save your edits, it's immediately published. So please, please use the "preview" button first and check/re-read your text. This can prevent a lot of unnecessary edits. ;-)
