I've clicked on every link but is there a way to download the whole package instead of file by file by file...?

that other link you put in the description? that just lead me to another page with every file but still cant do anything yet.. no offense but what is so hard about putting it up for download at example mediafire..? Its much easier for people who want to download it. Just one click and you have it

yay just like i thought: low fps on the outside. Probably becasue of a high resolution texture file mac usiers have lots of problems with. Oh and also have low fps while lookding down into the cockpit. But i can understand why that is. Very good job though! Love it even though i cant realy fly it but oh well.

Nice job Mercury !

I feel there are one or two little glitches with the polygon normals (on the wings, gear doors this shows as dark parts near creases). I can try and fix that if you want (should not be much of an issue)

Cheers

Very nice, but:

* there appears to be a problem with the fuel system - after a while, the MiG sucks just one tank dry (as if fuel pump were off) and then the engine goes out. Initially it seems to be pumping fuel from other tanks into the feeding tank if the fuel punp is on, but at some point this stops

* when climbing under AB power to high altitude, I frequently get into a wild roll instability at around 3000-4000 m. No idea - am I hitting the transonic regime? But a fighter plane should be able to deal with that... Once high up, the plane behaves okay, but I have to be very gentle with all stick movements

I've tried to read the documentation about both issues, but it doesn't say anything...

(Oh, and in order to avoid conflict with the Mig-29 which comes with GIT anyway, I had to rename the MiG-29-set.xml into MiG-29new-set.xml - apparently in this particular instance, capitalization isn't honoured).

Otherwise - why is it the Russian FG community has this ability to deliver such truly remarkable models at a consistent rate? Very impressive and detailed cockpit modelling!

(all tests done with 2,9 as of last Monday)

The model is updated. The hydrosystem, documentation, fuel system, the ReadMe files, textures of external model are updated. Changeable board number is added.
Link to file an updated model - http://dl.dropbox.com/u/95411943/MiG-29_11102012.7z.

This is a consequence of incomplete readiness FDM.

Documentation a little lags behind the model.

Some promotion 'artwork' for you (no, they're not photoshopped, Flightgear 2.9 can do that).

Works better for me. One question though - can I switch the engine off by pushing the throttle to zero beyond idle? I got the engine die two times on me during descent, and this is my best guess what happened. If so - how do I restart it?

Engine shutdown procedure described in the documentation.
Fixed function of automatic start of the engine in air.. Earlier because of the errors it did not work. Now works and as semi-automatic. To start a stopped engine in the air, set the engine throttle position between "Idle" and "Max".

P.S.: I hope you use the SVN version?

Hello!

First of all thanks for the aircraft, i really love MiG's. Second, i would like to make some liveries, so please update a paintkit for me please.I work in Adobe Photoshop, so the best if it would be in an acceptable fileformat. Thanks a lot!

Ahh, btw. i just forgot to mention, when i fly on Autothrottle, i suffer strange engines behavior. When i have for example 350kts on AP, and i change it to 250kts, the engines are shutting down for a while completely. After some seconds i hear the engines are turning ON. But also, i had a situation couple times, that they never turned back ON, and the aircraft crashed.
