Release date for v2.7?

When will v2.7 become available?

Will it include the new JSBSim rotary wing FM?

Thx in advance for any info about new features for v2.7 Really looking fwd for it

It's due on August 17th, as described here: http://wiki.flightgear.org/Release_plan.

I've no idea whether it will include the new JSBSim rotary wing FDM. I know that there has been a request to sync up the latest JSBSim with FG, but I don't know if anyone has done any additional plumbing that might be required.

And it will be called 2.8.0 (or possibly 3.0.0, if Rembrandt is included). 2.7.0 is the current development version (often referee to as "git") and will not be released as a stable release package.
