Hi guys. Not great with xml. I have copied the text into the data/joysticks.xml file. The controller works but it is using the driver described as joysticks/default/joystick.xml. so is only using a few buttons. If i copy the text into a file in that folder then the game quits during loading. Any help would be great. Thanks!

Is it possible to use the PS3 gyro function? I want to fly a hang glider with just the motion of the control, instead of pushing buttons. I was successful connecting the PS3 controller and flying with typical buttons. However, I can't figure out hot to read the accelerometer values from the PS3 controller.

f0n says

Why do you need to read the accelerometer on a hang glider f0n ?
It would be most unusual for a hang glider pilot to need an accelerometer, most of 'em fly a hang glider without instruments.
Even if they were very keen on instruments, I'd imagine an ASI and maybe a Variometer would be sufficient.
What next? " My hang glider ILS ain't working!"

really? eight years later? that is some... umm... ""delay"" ;)
"You get more air close to the ground," said Angalo. "I read that in a book. You get lots of air low down, and not much when you go up."
"Why not?" said Gurder.
"Dunno. It's frightened of heights, I guess."
