It's Really Nice We Have Mugs & T-shirts Now, But . . .

It's really nice we have mugs and t-shirts available now for purchase. I was going to buy a tee and a small mug, about $40, but when I went to checkout using paypal, it informed me the vendors (you/us) only accept "instant payment," ie, credit card. I don't use credit cards. I want to use my Debit card (or echeck.) When will this be changed?

At least my Visa Debit and my girl-friend's Mastercard Debit work whereever the Visa or MC logo are - also Paypal. I don't think, Paypal can see the difference what kind of Visa or MC you have...
If you have some bank's debit card, of course, you're screwed.

The t-shirts/mugs are done through cafe-press, so we have to live with whatever payment system they've set up. DVD orders are a separate thing and done directly through paypal.

That's funny, because when I used cafe press, we had the option. Not only that, but I believe the agreements with PayPal is merchants are supposed to accept all forms or payment which PayPal does; however, this seems to be honoured more in the breach than in practise.

I guess I'm not gettin' my Tee and coffee mug. Pity.
