I have created with Scotth a initial repo for A320neo in http://gitorious.org/airbus-aircraft/a320neo

I've dumped my "Fixed version" the one i send through MegaUpload.

Scotth need's you to have an account in gitorious and to give you access to the repository. Please create an account if you haven't one and get in contact with him.

For Using Git, find for a "GIT cheat sheet" you'll have a resume of common commands for it. ;-)

Hehe, he's Merlion's European Hub Director, I've been in contact with him for a loong time.

Anyway, about the A320neo, I've combined all the separate models into 1 and got it basically to work. Still working on the FDM now, cruise config is fine but need to tweak some lift based stuff, KCLge, flaps etc. :)

Could you merge to the repo? I've been adding some new views inside the cabin, FMC, Buttom panel...etc

I've been thinking about the FMC, i didn't find where it is linked on the XMLs but i think that one isn't from an A3xx aircraft. it looks from an Boeing 7x7.
There is one complex FMC on the A380, and maybe in long term, we can standardize the A3XX FMC

MDF need some bug fixing too.

Anyway get your version merged in git please. ;)

P.D: I'm waiting impatiently that new FDM :D

He is, he's just not as active on the forums as he once was.

But he is, along side me, one of the administrators of Merlion Virtual Airlines (biggest, most proffitable VA in FG ;)) as well as him being in his final year of schooling reduces his free time. He does, however have plans to re-do the A320neo's FDM.

Cheers,

I guess so... I'm really messed up in the middle of the new FDM... Then I though we could just fix the problems with the current FDM, like:

    Roll Inertia
    Yaw Inertia
    Lift Coefficients
    Drag Ratios

I'll try fixing the old FDM first, if you're not happy with that, I'll make a new one altogether. :)

Seriously, don't bother ;-)

It just was, that i was expecting to be release soon and didn't have any news from you ;-)

You said that you unified the 3 xml models in one, so maybe if you have time, you can send me the last version you have, so i can merge it with mi changes on the repo. ;-)

I would like to know how to develop the FDM.... :-( it looks hard.

I've been developing LEBB Airport by the way. https://gitorious.org/fg-lebb/fg-lebb

Cheers and Merry Christmas :P

Hi guys and happy new year!

I've been busy working with the A320neo FDM :D

I think the "on ground turning rudder" bug is gone, YEAH!!! xD

i've been adding some Cargo compartment definitions and tweeking the gears for the REAL MASS.

Lot's of comments in the FDM inserted. All tweeked values are referenced to one of the 3 documents of Airbus, Federal Aviation or EASA (European Aviation Safety Agencie) wich are in Docs folder.

Need to do more tweeking on rudder, and Center of Gravity but for today, you can download and try it on...

Once again it is just the A320neo version, A319neo and A321neo still with the same fdm.

Hoppe you like it! ;-)

P.D: Still many things to do.

Hey, it's great that you worked on the FDM, I'm busy with some other aircraft so I won't be able to do much with the A320neo...

bicyus wrote in Wed Jan 04, 2012 5:20 am:I think the "on ground turning rudder" bug is gone, YEAH!!! xD

Hmm, I thought that was a feature. You could remove it by changing the yaw damper values... or just completely removing that. :)

Oh WAIT¿? Feature? OUCH!! xD Fail! xD

Anyway I left the code there for fast backtrack. as you know is my first time with the FDM. I changed that full piece of code to check there was the "bug".

But that's a feature for what? what is it for? don't understand that the plane needed to heavily steer in runways...

Thanks mate!!
----------------------------------------------------------------------

Here we go again!!!
NEW UPDATE for our litle turbofan aircraft.

- 3D Shape for Cargo Mass compartments
- Rebalanced default masses for proper Gravity Center. Now Flys Better. ;-)
- Minor Pushback animation changes
- Modified Flaps Settings. Wanted to reach 35º, but is imposible by now. i've conbine original slats and flaps angles, to FG flaps system, now we can land at 140kt. ;-)
- Cockpit View position modified. a bit higer and aft. Need to test in other monitor configurations.
- Airframe fisical limitations added. No more insane gears or flaps deployment at 350kt xD
- Our Copilot now Announce V1, Vr and V2! Ooooh yeah!

something around 540 inserted code lines!

By the way, any one wants to join efforts on the project?

FDM

omega95 wrote in Thu Aug 18, 2011 9:18 am:D-SKY1, that is awesome! I'm remaking a JSBSim FDM for this plane and the current one sux (no offense to the guy who made it, even though i don't know who)... Some nice info would be awesome. Is it possible to get CLalpha values at 0.0 mach, 0.20 mach, 0.50 ,mach and 0.80 mach at these alpha angles : -0.1, 0.0, 0.23, 0.6 all in radians. Thanks a lot! :D

Have we have any info on this?

ECAM

Postby bicyus » Mon Jan 23, 2012 5:11 pm

Its more static visual image than dinamyc info screen, but this is a first approach.

I'm having some trubbles searching for needed porpertyes on FG objects, and making animated needles, but here is...

the new ECAM pre-Alpha version.
