AI Aircraft liveries required

I'm working on the Dash 8 at the moment so I'll take them for now.

Simple paint kits are available for some of the aircraft just let me know what you want.

There is a new mapping and paint kit for the A320 in Git.

The A380 is waiting to be remapped as the current mapping is incomplete so please avoid that.

All the Dash 8's are done apart from Dash8-400-Darwin.xml with which I'm having problems finding enough good pictorial information to redraw the markings.

Small selection:

Next up are the ATR's and MD-80's

Is there nobody else doing any AI liveries :?: :|

Great work! You're the best :)
Otherwise, there's not much interest in AI traffic, but if there will be, I hope people post here to let you know.

Nice Job!

I'll try to commit them as soon as you send then, but please note that all my time is currently taken up by a research proposal I'm currently writing to my day job. Thursday Nov 24, 5 PM is the deadline, so after that I have some more time again.

Cheers,

How would you all feel about replacing the Bombardier-Challenger (foreground) with a CRJ-200 (background). The CRJ is just a Challenger with stretched fuselage and wings to CRJ-200 size so it may not be 100% accurate.

Is it possible to get a list of replacement aircraft/liveries and the aircraft they are replacing :?:

Yea please. I always considered the Challenger to be a temporary stand-in until we had the real stuff available.

Please remind me / us in case I forget, but otherwise I'll try t give the list next week.

For FSweekend I created a (last minute) traffic file under AI/Traffic/misc/WooningAviation.xml (Wooning is a flying club at Lelystad Airport. To be precise, it's the company that were brave enough to let me fly one of their aircraft :P). The file contains some comments in the style of "should be Piper PA-28-161". The callsigns are actually the only correct things in that whole file.

Missing aircraft (and correpsonding liveries):
  • Cessna C152
  • Piper PA-28-161
  • Piper PA-28R-201T
  • Piper PA-34-200T
I know this is quite different from the airliners stuff you've worked on so far, but nevertheless it's an important piece of AI (for the promotion of FG). Would be nice if we have real liveries/aircraft on next year's show! :D

At least that gives us a little bit of time work on them

Just finished mapping the CRJ-200, now I need to know what liveries are wanted:

The rarer airlines like Ibex Airlines (Japan), Eurowings (Germany) and Atlasjet (Turkey; the airline that gave AVA some trouble in making a unique name -.-) would be pretty cool to see, in my opinion.

Any chance that's possible?
Look for "B-BIRD" "N127KY" or "AVA0004" -that's me.

Despite having over 1700 posts here, I am not even close to being the most skilled guy here... I'm just words and bad drawing, not experience. :P

Ibex might feature a few flights on behalf of ANA, although I'm not very sure yet.
The other are not. If you can find downloadable timetables, please post links, (but not in this thread) and I'll do what I can to extract schedules. Timetables also have to feature some other critical information besides departures and arrivals, such as the aircraft type.

Ibex and Lufthansa/Eurowings yes but Atlasjet don't have CRJ-200's.

First test of the A310, still a few more things to fix that I missed in the mapping.
