omega95,

just let me know if you need more detailed technical specs of Airbus' aircrafts. As stated here viewtopic.php?f=49&t=13048 I have a direct connection to Airbus until the end of this year and can ask them for information that is hard to find or not available in public.
Cheers,
Mike

D-SKY1, that is awesome! I'm remaking a JSBSim FDM for this plane and the current one sux (no offense to the guy who made it, even though i don't know who)... Some nice info would be awesome. Is it possible to get CLalpha values at 0.0 mach, 0.20 mach, 0.50 ,mach and 0.80 mach at these alpha angles : -0.1, 0.0, 0.23, 0.6 all in radians. Thanks a lot! :D

I think the A320-family project could benefit from this as well. In particular, me and Ampere are looking for fly-by-wire-related documents.

omega95,
ok. Your request is out. Now we must wait for reply. It depends on how much time my source can find to gather all information that he's allowed to give out.

skyop,
a short research on google give me a quite big hitlist and by probing some articles I see that they seem to be quite informative and detailed. Do you need an overview on FBW or what do you need to know in detail? Best is if you could provide some work to me where you get stuck. As stated in viewtopic.php?f=49&t=13048 I offer help on information that is hard to find.
Cheers,
Mike

Yeah, there're a lotta bugs now but that's cuz of the way the A320-family engines and gears are conditioned. Malik is re-doing the whole structure but for a while, I haven't seen him. And then all of a sudden, I saw merlion2 (malik) on the map in an A332 yesterday! He'll probably be on fb today so I'll get him to talk on the progress. :D

Hello!

I've been flying this new A320neo, and looks wonderful!!

I would like to contribute to his development.

I found some bugs on XMLs related to the "Showing just one engine" bug and others. Mainly because of dependant on A320-Family folder.

Is there any GIT Repository? Mailing list? or something?

Cheers ;-)

Approx. two weaks ago, on the Merlion Virtual Airlines facebook group (Merlion's former president created the A320neo's) this was posted;

Thanks to Jon A. Ortuondo who actually bothered to go deep into the A320neo and find the errors, we have finally got the engines visibile! Make the following changes to get it right. I'll also be making a new FDM and release the whole thing soon.

1. IN FILE : A320neo/XMLs/Wings/a320.wings.xml

Change the 'A320-family' in Aircraft/A320-family/Engines/XMLs/a320.engine.leapx.left.xml and Aircraft/A320-family/Engines/XMLs/a320.engine.leapx.right.xml to 'A320neo' or just use the Find and Replace function.

2. IN FILE : A320neo/Engines/XMLs/a320.nacelle.leapx.left.xml

Change <path>Aircraft/A320neo/Engine/Models/a320.nacelle.cfmleapx.ac</path> to <path>Aircraft/A320neo/Engines/Models/a320.nacelle.cfmleapx.ac</path>

Thanks Jon!

Hope it helps,

Cheers,

Hey that was me!!! I'm Jon A. Ortuondo

I send it to contact.merlion@.... as I show in The Omega Hangar but didn't get response (i think). That's why I asked for a Development Control Systems or something.

There are new Bugs, with the Wheels, not representing if there is no A320-family folder. Once again, replace by A320neo and works.

The thing is, where is it been developing? who is in charge to release it. Don't want to do a FORK, it's beter to have the efforces together.

Hey Jon,

Thanks a lot for reporting those bugs, the A320neo was first an add-on for the A320-family but later forked into a whole separate project. Another problem is that the FDM is just a modified version of the A320-231 FDM (which is kinda screwed up) and now, I'm working on a new JSBSim FDM for the NEO. Just tell me / send me all the changes you want to make and I'll include them in a release very soon.

Hi Omega95 ;)

I have some other files fixed:

Files A320neo/XMLs/a321neo.fuselage.xml
Files A320neo/XMLs/Instruments/OHpanel/OHpanel.xml
Files A320neo/XMLs/LandingGears/a320.mlg.left.xml
Files A320neo/XMLs/LandingGears/a320.mlg.right.xml
Files A320neo/XMLs/LandingGears/a320.nlg.xml
Files A320neo/XMLs/Lights/landing-nose.xml
Files A320neo/XMLs/Lights/landing-port.xml
Files A320neo/XMLs/Lights/landing-stbd.xml
Files A320neo/XMLs/Wings/a320neo.winglets.xml
Files A320neo/XMLs/Wings/a320.wings.iae.xml

Here is the Full A320neo with the BugsFixed:
http://www.megaupload.com/?d=HKPIZQZV

I've been looking to tweak the FDM for the BUG of Turning left (or right, donit remenber now) in the ground, but don't realy understand it.
Anyway I would like to learn and develop this aircraft.

If there isn't any... could we open a GIT repository to develop it? It would be better than sending you the fixes or proposals.

Cheers ;)

Great, I don't have any experience with committing to git etc. and you could create a rep. if you want but Scott already has an Airbus-Aircraft Repo. and we could simply use that.

And don't worry about the FDM, I'm on it now.

Hey Jon,

As I said, this was first an add-on for the A320-family but later we forked it into a separate project. It still has a lot of things from the A320s and a lot of dependencies too. I was thinking we re-build the whole project. I mean there's no point in having the models separate, I'll put everything together and start with the FDM. Can you animate/fix up the systems and whatever you can to make it better? :D

And what're you gunna' do about the git repo? If you want to create a separate 1, I might need to find out how to commit. :|
