Nice screenshots! It's ok it's not a video; this way anyone can join in

I got the water effect from the forums here, I think from the Development->Effects&Shaders. There must be a topic of it somewhere...

OK I found it but, you see the topic was like from 2 years ago and the file was deleted so could you give me a copy of yours?

I need your :
- water.eff
- water.frag
- folder 'Water'

assuming you got it here? http://www.flightgear.org/forums/viewtopic.php?f=47&t=9386

Look for "B-BIRD" "N127KY" or "AVA0004" -that's me.

Despite having over 1700 posts here, I am not even close to being the most skilled guy here... I'm just words and bad drawing, not experience. :P

If shaders and special textures aren't turned on, then semi-transparent textures can't be used...
...and the Bridge uses those kinds of textures for the cables. That's why.

I chose a bit of heavy metal, Dave Culp's A-3D Skywarrior nuke bomber.

Here's my entry, I call it "threading the needle".

Indeed, sir. Being a Gnome user I had an instinctive aversion to any app with a name beginning with K, but after hearing so much about it I gave it a try. It's a very nifty app indeed.
