Thanks for all your hard work!

Thanks! We appreciate comments like that. ;)

It's because of a feature in the FDM that accounts for the wind affecting the rudder. We're thinking of redoing the FDM at some later time (in preparation for a fly-by-wire system), so whether or not it stays is questionable.

To ease my workload, I'm going to experiment a bit: all future releases of the A320-family will be made at the Gitorious development repository here. If you're knowledgeable with Git, you may check out your own copy of the "release" branch for the latest stable version or the "master" branch for the latest developments. Otherwise, you can download a .tar.gz snapshot of the release branch; instructions will be posted when the next version is ready.

Remember, just because you are downloading the A320 from a Git repository does not mean you need FlightGear Git to fly it. I cannot stress that enough. However, some small modifications will be necessary for 1.9.1/2.0.0 compatibilitly.

What are you reading from? The latest Git is quite stable and I'd recommend it to anyone. If you don't feel like doing it the old-fashioned way, you can always download a developer snapshot from the forums or get a nightly build.

Is it me, or is the cockpit finally going to be finished?
Those textures look awesome, very real!
And by the way, your last post was the 500th in this topic, Skyop

Well most everything that can be animated is animated. I'll begin adding in actual systems shortly.

Gonna be a few days... gotta sort out some things with Git, add a lighting system, tweak a few systems.

Some experiments with the light map... wing lights, strobe lights, and actual logo lights to come.

Note; Before anyone is disappointed, this feature will only work under 2.2/Git.

It looks good, but too bad the lights don't help you to see runway at night.
