If this is your first taste of the git-version, then try in menu -> debug

Thanks. I'll be sure to try that.

Btw, one more complaint: The GPS seems to struggle to find the nearest airport. I'm sure I had one within 50 nm of me when I did the search, but it instead chose the airport nearest to the airport I started at, and sent me over 300 nm back to where I started from. I was approaching an invisible carrier and simply wanted to divert to a nearby airport.

I can't wait to try this out! I just wish I had found this thread this morning when I had the time.
I run the latest git version on linux, but have'nt figured out how to compile on windows yet.
This will also help my less computer savey friends too!

just downloaded V20101222 tonight and the installer freezes on the "installing flightgear files" screen.

running Windows XP SP3 32bit.

Is there a wiki page or instructions any where about this? Or is it just download and go?

Could anybody explain how I can download anything from http://flightgear.simpits.org:8080/ ? I'm even not able to connect with that address.

I have already recent fgdata from git, so now I would like to get only the archive from Hudson.
Or could anybody upload that archive to ftp server?

thank you
tom

Welcome Tom!

The Hudson server is currently down. So all you can do is wait till it is up again. Which is hopefully soon...

Cheers,

Here you get the installer:

Edit: oh, I see, you're talking about the other server... well well...

I'm having a problem with the Concorde. I got it off the official download site for 2.0.0. I'm still on the 12/19/10 version of FG. The AT is broken. Any suggestions?

Don't download any aircraft from the 2.0.0 page- there's been a lot of autopilot changes in Git and I think some planes (such as the Concorde) have had autopilot updates lately.

Download aircraft you need directly from Git (see here.

Thanks. I'll try.

EDIT: Nope, that did not solve my problem. I also noticed the overspeed sound is now missing.

Snapshot updated as of Monday, 27 December, 2010:

http://mirrors.ibiblio.org/pub/mirrors/ ... 101227.exe

Zexe: concorde issues are probably best reported on the flightgear-devel mailing list. I'm pretty sure the Concorde author monitors the dev list pretty regularly. He prefers to submit his work anonymously to protect his internet privacy ... can't blame him considering the amount of spam I get every day.

Thanks,

Curt.

Does ATIS work in that new version? Is there any possibility to search for frequencies (tower, atis) of the airports? I can see it neither in menu nor in the radio stack.
