Somehow I have the suspicion, that this isn't from FlightGear... Look at the ground textures. I don't know any region where our ground textures look like this.

Anyone else who shares this opinion? Or am I wrong and I do suspect Zac wrongly?

@dg-505 the scenery is by user frtps. It is available in the scenery forum. It is a test region of a larger build showcasing Sydney. In the media forum, there is a topic about Blue Mountains, the topic also showcases the scenery.

Zac has been working on some shader stuff, hence why the aircraft and sky look a bit different to normal.

Is definitely FG! Zac's been teasing us with these screenshots on the FG and FGAU Discord servers.

Then I apologize :oops:

That's why the scenery looked a bit strange to me.

Okay, I also thought the aircraft looks a bit unusual

Again I'm sorry for my suspicons, it's definitely a great screenshot!

The land that time forgot

Many 'corridors' with vertical cliffs being cut out by rivers, almost like it was built by ancient giants.

What things (on compositor branch?), out of curiosity? :mrgreen:

There is a shader & effects section link in the forum too, as well as newsletter

@vnts
I don't believe it's on the compositor branch - but then again it's his work, so I'm just not sure. You're welcome to join the FGAU discord (link in sig) or FG discord and flick him a message if you want to know more. I'm not really *that* technical, but what I can tell you is his changes look great. They're not released to anyone AFAIK.
