Soyuz - Development

Postby lexperience » Wed Jun 12, 2019 10:46 am

Discussion of the development process of the project of the Soyuz spacecraft.
We discuss code errors, textures, sounds, and all that relates directly to the development process. We also offer functions for the ship and possible options for their implementation by software.
! Take into account that all functions and add-ons should be comparable to a real ship!
We make a simulator, not a fantastic cosmo shooter.

Soyuz | ISS - 3D models
Exact three-dimensional models of the International Space Station and the Soyuz spacecraft.

Note: these models were created for the development of space experiments on the Russian Segment of the ISS, therefore, only the Russian Segment is 100% accurately modeled, but this is even good, because in this project only we need it.
Objectives: Pull out all models of the Union and finalize them in accordance with the drawings from "Soyuz-Documentation".

News: 12.06.2019
- Start of work on the project "Soyuz-MS";
- Calculation of FDM with the participation of the Institute of Aerophysics of the Russian Academy of Sciences;
- Collection, indexing and inventory of documents and materials on the project.

Friends! Today is a very important day! Many of you were waiting for him and he came. The development of a model of the Soyuz-MS spacecraft for FlightGear, the first most advanced model of the Russian Manned Transport Ship. This is the beginning of new victories. Today I spoke with the developers of simulators training cosmonauts Tsentpp Training Cosmonaut them. Gagarin and they fully support our initiatives in this regard. For those who worked on the SpicesShuttle project, I can say that the Soyuz ship is a little easier in terms of the amount of data and is generally simpler. Congratulations to everyone on starting work!

So - the solution to the problem of building a flight dynamics model.
To begin with, let's deal with the most complex module of the Soyuz vehicle - the Lander. In principle, the flight time entered, until the moment of separation it has no aerodynamic forces. Everything begins at the stage of separation, when the Household compartment and the instrument-aggregate are shot from the descent vehicle and then it begins its independent movement.
Here is a diagram of the aerodynamic forces in the motion of the SA at the balancing angle of attack and the placement of the crew.

Approximate aerodynamic characteristics of Descent Module at supersonic speeds.

Influence of aerodynamic quality and angle of entry on maximum loads during descent from orbit

The nature of the influence of aerodynamic quality and the angle of entry on heat flows (specific q and integral Q)

Now I will install the program and try to enter the data there.
