Quick sum up of my last rendez vous attempt ( it is getting closer and closer)
Scenario ISS,
--aircraft=SpaceShuttle-ISS
--lat=0.0 --lon=5.07 --heading=44.66
ISS at 330 km and anomaly 2 in mission file, LAN and inc unchanged
After some phasing, estimation on when we will reach 60 kfeet before ISS ( here at 10h40 m)
Lambert targeted burn to affinate our position at 10h40mn, it will be our Ti point ( terminal initiationà, either we go for the rendez vous then or we phase again to delay the final rendez vous phase)
Then a burn at our apogee to raise the perigee from 40 kft below ISS up to 10 kft at our next estimated perigee ( quite hard to see with J3 perturbations, I am using item 12 Vz speed to estimate maxima and minima of the orbit)
After some try and error, I tried to approach ISS by above to change.
After the last burn, Rendez vous at 12:05 at our next perigee if everything goes well
ISS in sight
Proximity operations then, quite hard. Couldn't docked but it was fun
Still no luck with X BPV, it does not like me
