I'm working on cleaning up the panel text texture, please verify what the missing (bottom text) is under the ADI Attitude. Is it Auto?
I've already re-positioned some of the offset text and added the missing P on PITCH.
Still need the H on LVLH and a couple bounding lines.

EDIT:
Also is that text left of ERROR on the ADI?

Okay :)
All went well, except for speed.
It had decayed to just below Mach 25 by the time I reached OMS 2 burn, and regained to Mach 25.28 by the time it finished.
I did notice that it started at 26.48 or so....

Just where did you think the energy to gain 300 km altitude came from? :-) It's your kinetic energy, being converted into altitude. if you're not under thrust, you get slower when you get higher in orbit, you gain speed as you get lower.

If AUTO is correct, I think all I need is the text right of ERROR?

Without having much time on my hands - the layout of all panels is given in the appropriate sections of the crew manual - that's what I usually consult.

Silly me!
Looks like I need togo back into the Physics textbooks
:)
That's great. What worried me was that the trajectory map just showed a partial orbit, not a couple of them, as I have seen in some screenshots.

Wlbragg, I love being able to type in the cockpit, without having to use the menu. Nice work.

@legoboyvdlp, thanks, I should have the ADI in shortly.

It wasn't AUTO, it was REF and the other is RATE.

I spoke to soon, this is a bit more complicated than I anticipated, some of these are push buttons indicator lights and also stand alone indicator lights. So it will be a bit more work than "shortly". :(

Not exactly sure; I used this as a reference http://www.jonbrack360.com/endeavour_fd_down/
and it's got one of those bits of velcro over it and you can't see the other one as it's behind the stick

Thank Richard, I found it in the manual, but thanks for the link to the 3D cockpit. I wish it was lit up though. I'm doing the push buttons with lights and their corresponding indicators. I'm guessing right now as to exactly what they look like lit up.

Thank's Richard, unfortunately it still doesn't show the ones I need in their active state.

Image
This is how I have it now, A green light to show what is active. Right now there is something always active, depending on startup values, I suppose eventually this should be tied to a main power bus.

Image
This one makes it look like barber pole talk backs.

Image
I don't think it is. If you look at the illuminated panels, all the labels are lit up. I wonder if when the CSS/AUTO is active if the labels on the push buttons are lit as well?

Image
This is what the barber poles look like.

Image
Same with these, is there a letter L | R or U | D That is illuminated when active, is there also a background effect for half the display that is lit in some manner?

Maybe we can light up the all the texture text in some fashion, I haven't looked at how the hud text and monitor text are lit.

We can use Implicit Lightmap for all the texture text, yes?

I'd guess looking at the size of it that there is a single bulb so the whole thing lights up when pushed. It's only usually the panel legends that are always illuminated.

I would imagine that it is blank when inactive, if that's what you mean. The illumination looks like it is coming from the panel edge lighting.

That's what it was made for. It's really easy to add and with photo derived textures it looks really good.

One final thing is that it is wise to define properties somewhere for the rgb values for the colours. I did this on the F-15 after spending hours going through all of the files to change the colour to be more white than red; and I wish I'd started with this concept. Have a look at the left side panel in the F-15 for the back lighting and use of properties for colours if you're not sure.
