Awesome , I didn’t dare to ask you for the R 13 panel , I thought it was too much :)
I will do the alert tone for class 3 alert then if you implement the blue Sm alert

Nice for he body flap switch indeed it’s useful

A thing or two can wa have the Freon loop on red like in real ?

If I am not mistaken , the red alarm on f 7 panel are for:

Fuel cell reactant, cabine atm, main bus under v, Freon loop, air data, MPS, and all the rcs, oms , oms tvc related stuff

Try looking at night (?) - the color doesn't always come out during the day, but some of them actually are red.

In other matters:

Anyone else thinks splitting this monster thread into a few sub-categories

* development news (feature requests,...) and discussion
* bug reporting and fixing
* scenario and spaceflight discussion
* beginner help

Admittedly I find it difficult to keep track of what's been said when and I kind of hope distributing to more than one thread makes things easier for the rather active spaceflight community...

I actually sent out two PMs to Curt and GIjs suggesting a new "spaceflight" forum to move related topics there.
That was a couple of months ago.

I never received a response, but obviously the forum also hasn't been created. I guess they were both really busy.

Another option would be a dedicated "Space Shuttle" sub-forum to better organize everything there.
Then again, I think it is foreseeable, that we will have additional "spacecraft" in the time to come, so I'd still vote for a general spaceflight forum - possibly in conjunction with a dedicated wiki portal

Like we once discussed in private, it would actually make sense to introduce a dedicated "spaceflight" startup mode to customize some things that make little sense for a spacecraft (think a custom menubar, with fewer aircraft related default dialogs and stuff like that)

The question is, if this community would be supportive of accommodating spaceflight in general, i.e. not just in the form of a dedicated forum, but also certain launcher/startup changes to make this use-case more "native", i.e. referring to "the powers that be" ?
Please don't send support requests by PM, instead post your questions on the forum so that all users can contribute and benefit
Thanks & all the best,

A new subforum "FlightGear ‹ Development ‹ Spacecraft" could easily be opened. I am unable to do that but, if Thorsten asked, then it should be easy to set up. I also think that this thread would have been much easier to follow if it was split into multiple threads, as there are so many diverse topics here. Having many different Space Shuttle threads in a dedicated "Spacecraft" forum would be a good thing, but I doubt you'll find any moderated willing to consider splitting this current beast of a thread ;) We could shift this thread into the subforum, but new threads should be created for new posts.

That’s seems to be a good idea , and almost necessary now seeing the variety of subject in that topic.
Maybe moderators can split the work with otherw, if you give me some small rights just to move and split posts, I can help to reorganize ( and move also the spatial threads present In media )

turn on the enhanced cockpit in the F10->shuttle->options (toward the bottom) menu...
"You get more air close to the ground," said Angalo. "I read that in a book. You get lots of air low down, and not much when you go up."
"Why not?" said Gurder.
"Dunno. It's frightened of heights, I guess."

I need some help with this masterpiece ! :wink: The thermal protection shield always fails on entry (I started directly with the entry variant and followed the tutorial https://wiki.flightgear.org/Flying_the_ ... a_tutorial). What am I doing wrong ? I always let the DAP do the steering.

Note: "Always" means two of two times here …
