What is mumble? Is it some sort of ATC program?

Mumble is a voice-over-ip application.
People connect to a mumble server using the mumble client to talk to each other. There they join so called „channels“ which are similar to rooms in real life - only people in the same channel can hear each other.

This can easily be used to provide atc where the atc serves pilots in a given chsnnel, which then kind of represents the airspace around his tower.

Why do you ask?

I asked just because I've seen people around the forum talk about Mumble, I just wanted to know.
