Yes, ATC-pie was entirely designed to allow flight details to circulate between flight plans, strips, and radar contacts.
First, pull up the "flight plan" dock to view/filter the FPLs filed on the online page you refer to, a.k.a. "Lenny64's website". Then the trick is to link strips to those flight plans, and you will avoid typing everything in yourself. Just like radar contacts, use a middle-click to link a strip to a selected FPL, or vice-versa (+ SHIFT to unlink).
A few tips regarding strip--FPL links and auto-filling details:
- SHIFT+F2 directly creates a new strip linked to the selected FPL;
- the "pull" menu under the strip views allows to copy the linked FPL details to the strip;
- "auto-fill" options in the general settings allow to automatically fill strip details on link actions;
- an empty strip detail (in dialog) will fall back on any linked FPL detail to inform the display.
Similarly, to create/amend flight plans:
- SHIFT+F3 directly creates a new FPL linked to the selected strip;
- the "push to FPL" tick box in the strip dialog fills the linked FPL with the details on dialog close.
Similar options exist with links to radar contacts...
