Info box font size

Postby bavi90 » Tue Feb 09, 2016 1:21 pm

Hello,

I'm using ATC-pie r8b since a few days.(on Windows 10, python34)

All is good except the font size of text in info box (on radar, box with callsign, transponder, FL and speed).

Where can I change this ?

Thanks.

This was a known issue on some systems, not even consistently observed. Surprisingly though, it was normally solved *with* r8b, which did indeed turn one user's (bschack's) chopped text into a working state. Do you see a difference with earlier versions? Please download one from SF and comment.

OK I have just had a word from vector who now has the same problem as you. System/Qt fonts are playing with my nerves: r8b made no difference for me, was a solution for somebody, and now creates a problem for others. I will correct this asap and push a new version.

OK the so-called "fix" in r8b of the occasional graphical font size problem seems to create more trouble than it solves. So r8c was reverted to the previous behaviour. I will be investigating this and try to provide an adjustable font size suitable for all systems.
People with font size problem on r8c are welcome to identify themselves so I can try things with them if I need to.
