Should be fixed, but probably not in time for RC5. See https://code.google.com/p/flightgear-bu ... d=1347#c11
Airports: EHAM, EHLE, KSFO

thanks though for taking the time to report the bug and actually creating a video - very good bug report indeed !
However, it's funny that due to the flexible nature of Nasal+Canvas, it takes much longer to shoot such a video than fix the actual bug

Hi
Read this post and watched the video
would just like to point out that i run this plane all the time and havenot seen this happen
maybe it could be your system thats causing this

my system
i7 1.6
8 GB system ram
ATI HD 58700 graphics card 1GB Vram ( updated to latest drivers from web site)
FG 3.0
777xx seattle from devs web site ( not sure this is the default one in FG 3.0 download)
have tried this several times last night with all ver of the plane
from 4 different airports with sids/route/stars set
plane follows route perfect fromtake off to land and no sign of any flickering at any time

Rgds

Nope it's actually been fixed for a long time, so hopefully no one experiences it.

right, I'd go as far as claiming that within the next ~1-2 release cycles, Canvas/MapStructure (and thus, ND) performance will further improve significantly - and people using frameworks like MapStructure will automatically benefit from such optimizations, because it's all fairly well encapsulated meanwhile, and straightforward to optimize/re-implement certain routines, without having to touch a ton of places (aircraft/instruments/dialogs).
