Incorrect Forum Time?

Postby Delta5142 » Tue Mar 16, 2021 4:25 pm

Hello all,
Where I live (California), daylight savings has kicked us forward one hour, and i'm pretty positive that has happened to you guys as well. However, the time on the forum seems off. When someone makes a post at, say, 8:00 a.m., the forum claims that said person has made the post at 7:00 a.m. I don't know what's happening here, maybe the forum time has not been pushed forward one hour?

Regards,
Delta5142

You have to set forum time in the user settings: User Control Panel > Board Preferences => Set Summer Time/DST to true. If I recall correct DST doesn't apply automatically, as it depends on your location when it goes into effect (e.g. here in Europe we only enter DST in two weeks).
