Hey guys,
I was browsing the forum the other day and I saw some posts from 1969. I tried clicking on these but it said this topic doesn't exist. What are these posts?

Those topics were posted by time traveling developers from the future. although they are written in 1969, they are also actually written in the future. which of course hasn't happened for you yet. It's a paradox, can't be helped due to wibbly-wobbly-timey-wimey... stuff...

That is really weird, in particular since time stamps often are counting up from the UTC epoch, in essence from midnight at the beginning of January 1, 1970.

If you can link me to them, or the page/subforum where you found them, I'll get rid of them (they're corrupted spam posts from a while ago).

"You get more air close to the ground," said Angalo. "I read that in a book. You get lots of air low down, and not much when you go up."
"Why not?" said Gurder.
"Dunno. It's frightened of heights, I guess."

viewforum.php?f=25&start=2100
here. If you scroll to the bottom of the page you can see some of the posts I found on 1969. However, If you actually click on them, It says the topic does not exist. How is this possible, because Flightgear hasn't been around all the way since then, right?

the timezone adjustment is kicking in... when i looked at them, just now, from my EST (New York) timezone, they are dated "1969 12 31 20:00" which is only 4 hours before the epoch ;)

You are right, wkitty.
If i look (timezone UTC+1), i see 'Jan 01, 1970 2:00 am'.
Looks for me as deleted or lost threads where the timestamp reseted to 0.

A quick search found a few more from the deletion account "Guest":

This is at the end of the "Board index ‹ FlightGear ‹ Support ‹ Tools ‹ FGCom" and "Board index ‹ FlightGear ‹ Support ‹ Tools ‹ Atlas" subforums. I challenge you to find more
