Posting images...

The icon for posting image merely inserts the link between "img" tags. What's the procedure for posting the image itself, and not just a link?

You have to use a remote hosting site and link to them to share an image in the forum.

Earlier today, when I tried to post an image using the image icon, it just posted the link to the image at the hosting site, it did not post the image. You can see the result here:

viewtopic.php?f=25&t=30435#p295378

So I'm trying it again:

Edit: it worked this time. So why didn't it work earlier?

Your earlier post used [url] tags. This one uses [img] tags.

Duh! I didn't notice that. I must have hit the "link" icon rather than the "image" icon.

Thanks. Problem solved.
